A few considered habits can help protect your jewellery from unnecessary moisture, chemicals, friction, and impact.
Wipe After Wear
Gently wipe each piece with a clean, soft, dry, lint-free cloth to remove oils and residue before storage.
Give Every Piece Its Place
Fasten clasps and store pieces separately in their Cirque D’Or pouch or box, away from humidity and harder jewellery.

MATERIAL GUIDANCE
Caring for Specific Materials
Gold Vermeil
Keep gold vermeil away from water, perfume, lotions, cleaning products, and prolonged friction. Wipe gently after wear. Do not use silver polish, abrasive cloths, chemical dips, steam, or ultrasonic cleaners.
Rhodium-Plated Sterling Silver
Clean with a soft, dry cloth using minimal pressure. Avoid abrasive polishing products, which can gradually wear the plated surface.
Freshwater Pearls
Put pearls on after perfume and cosmetics, wipe gently after wear, and never soak them. Store separately so their surfaces do not rub against metal or harder stones.
Mother of Pearl
Avoid perfume, cosmetics, hairspray, cleaning products, prolonged moisture, heat, and abrasive materials. Do not soak, scrub, steam, or use an ultrasonic cleaner. This guidance also applies to black Mother of Pearl.
Malachite
Keep malachite away from chemicals, acids, heat, prolonged moisture, and sudden temperature changes. Wipe carefully with a soft, dry cloth; never soak or ultrasonically clean.
Lapis Lazuli
Protect lapis lazuli from chemicals, perfume, heat, prolonged moisture, and hard impact. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth.
Garnet
Protect garnet from hard knocks, scratching, sudden temperature changes, and harsh chemicals. Clean gently with a soft cloth lightly dampened with mild soapy water, then dry thoroughly.
Natural Zircon
Avoid rough wear, sharp impact, excessive friction, and contact with harder jewellery. Clean with warm, mild soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry thoroughly.
Turquoise
Keep turquoise away from cosmetics, perfume, cleaning products, skin oils, perspiration, acids, and prolonged moisture. Clean gently and dry immediately.
Chains, Clasps & Settings
Fasten clasps before storage, lay chains flat or hang them individually, and avoid pulling delicate components. Stop wearing a piece if a link, clasp, prong, or setting feels loose.
Storage & Travel
Keep each piece separately in its Cirque D’Or pouch or box. Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, heat, and humidity. When travelling, use individual pouches or compartments rather than packing jewellery loosely.
